tilimangro 1,013
It's very soul destroying at times constantly being knocked back or people who promise the earth and never deliver 2 Quote Link to post
1Wally 204
A good bit of permission for lamping etc is worth its weight on gold. Nobody will ever stop me mooching wherever i want for the odd bunny though. 2 Quote Link to post

saluki nip 73
When it's dark av got permission as far as the eye can see, got pals that got some big land and if theirs was a bunny on different land that wasn't theirs they would still run it 2 Quote Link to post

Dewclaw69 484
i think the issue of permission is all relative. these days the consequences of being caught running dogs on land where you have no permission are harsher and the public is more aware. 20 years ago i never had any permission, was out 3 or 4 times a week and regularly got a tug by the law but never really suffered. views have changed and maybe i'm a little wiser ( or have mellowed) so i only run now where i have permission. yes its hard to get but keep at it. put yourself where farmers are going to be. the local hunt is a good place. they all rely on the hunt to collect fallen stock. hard work and perseverence will pay off. Joe1888 672
find getting ferreting permission is easier, soon as i mention lurcher thats it.. try get your foot in the door by ferreting, gain abit trust then you might have a better chance with running dugs 1 Quote Link to post
