That's because ISIS are SUNNI muslims, who hate the SHIA muslims and want to eradicate them. Those Shia's marching in London couldn't care less about terrorism when its aimed at Christians or Kurds, or the "west" in general; but when it's aimed at them, suddenly they are against terrorism !!

True mate , I suppose like us couldn't care less about what Muslims kill another Muslims. An old saying springs to mind though. The enemy of my enemy is my friend ! And like I said fair play to them . Edited by marshman

Brigzy You said we don't care when Christians or Kurds are being attacked you are totally wrong. do you even know what shia are? I certainly know more than you about Shia and Sunni theIr conflicts and the history or do you want to argue the point ?

I already told you, you are talking on a matter that you have no accurate knowledge working in the middle east certainly does not put you in the know so I claim your comment that Shia don't care that Christians and Kurds being attacked is bollocks as for an argument on islam Sunni or shia you don't want to enter in the cul de sac you would loose that particular battle .

I can't remember any muslims, Sunni or Shia, marching or protesting in London at the murder of Lee Rigby, or the London bombings, or ever marching against terrorism in any form. I DO remember them protesting by burning poppies and flags and screaming abuse and spitting on our returning troops. But now, when Shias are under attack from ISIS, they are marching "against terrorism and ISIS"......... I think the facts speak for themselves without me getting into a muslim theological discussion with you, when you obviously think my views are "bollocks".

I would have far more sympathy and solidarity with the marchers, and with Dessertbred, if the banners had said "MUSLIMS against terrorists and ISIS", rather than "SHIAS against terrorists and ISIS!.

By the way, I'm more of an Islamophile than Islamophobe, just most of my Muslim friends and relations are moderates who abhor ALL extremism.

Muslims in the UK come under regular criticism for keeping quiet when atrocities happen so when something is done to break the wall of silence then the conspiracy advocates and provocateurs then try to undermine the attempts by sand bagging and undermining any possible attempts to find common ground. I don't care for many of the British Governments policies but does that mean I hate all Christians or British people? Even America whom Shia do hate are sensible enough to realise that in order to defeat an organisation such as ISIS then some times common ground has to be found its called politics, it is people such as yourself who will stall any attempts to ever bring about solutions to global problems, people have to talk even to their enemies even in war to enable certain activities to take place even if only of a humanitarian nature do I trust Western Governments "No" the mistrust is reciprocal do I trust British Christian people some of them I do. Do I trust all Muslims certainly not but it doesn't stop me having friendships in all walks of life.
