Knee Pads

Anybody use them on here,,,,I tried them about a hundred years ago,,some work ones I had at the time,,,but they moved about and were genraly a pian ,,,,but as I'm getting older,,I'm starting to think about saving me joints

 

But was thinking with the change in designs ect,,,that maybe there's some out there at are comfy ect,,,,was looking at the army ones only about £5 ,,any good?

I've got a few pair of work trousers that you can slide knee pads in the knee pockets, like a carpet fitters trousers, there not bulky like the knee pads you strap around, and don't make the back of knee sweat, screwfix sell them quite cheap

I use the Rolson Gel knee pads (part number 82711) for doing fresh cut hedges and crawling round on all fours under hedges or rough land.

always wear them as said earlier a bit of a pain when they slip or twist. but to stop thorns and brambles going through your knees in the bottom of our lovely somerset hedgerows they are a all important bit of kit. I also use the trousers at work with the pads that slide up and as said earlier thease are excellent.

I got a pair of big orange rubber ones to use after i got caught out after the farmer cut the hedges but hes never done it again so ive never used them , i bought a pair of knee pads and elbow pads off a squaddy as well but ive never used them either

Stop being a fanny ha ha. We use some at work which are pretty good but after a few hours the straps start to get a bit tight. And with them on you look like a teenage mutant Ninja turtle ha ha

ive got some ,,troucsers were you put the rubber pad in when you need it,,,,,

I had some of them they pretty good, probably the best as there is no straps

As a floor tiler by trade Ive worn them for near 30 yrs....the gel ones I cant get on with,the best ones I had were leather,lined with carpet underlay,the hard plastic knee cap types are worse than useless

get the ones with straps on tomo don't get them Velcro ones mate load crap keep coming undone, and them I have got are comfy on back of your legs mate and you will get few seasons out of them if you look after the straps wash etc etc I think I only paid a tenner leather looking they are gl
