I normally cut the under fastening off as soon as I get them. Never causes any problems. I use the ex army canvas gaiters. Very hard wearing. 1 Quote Link to post

Ripstop 89 Posted December 16, 2014 Author Report Share Posted December 16, 2014 I use the ex army green canvas ones, wax them with Barbour wax, they are tough, I cut the wire off the bottoms, as I could only see it hindering and ogr cutting the boot. Quote Link to post
