Gaiters

I'm after some new Gaitors, must be very tough and under fassening good for a shovel.

Any views and opinions?

I got these two year ago,,,still going strong,,,the bit under your foot is wire,,,so won't ware out,,,I dig in mine ferreting,,not the same as terrier work I know,,,also lamp in them ,,in fact there never off my boots,,,

Do you boys get much trouble with your gaiters riding up? I normally cut the under fastening off as soon as I get them. Never causes any problems.

 

I use the ex army canvas gaiters. Very hard wearing.

I use the ex army green canvas ones, wax them with Barbour wax, they are tough, I cut the wire off the bottoms, as I could only see it hindering and ogr cutting the boot.

Mate I use Mac gaiters they are neoprene tho, no under fastening just clip on to the boot lace I wear them

With hi boots so they are fine and light, heather knocks f**k out them but only the outer part good for a couple seasons
