Brigzy 1,298
Why should we fight with one hand tied behind our back ? If they stick to the Geneva Convention, so will we. If they want to terrorise us, then we will torture them to stop them from blowing up innocent people, cutting heads of innocent people, flying planes into buildings full of innocent people ! These c**ts who went to fight for ISIS and realised it wasn't all it was cracked up to be and now want to come "home", wel, torture the b*****ds to find out what they know....... Then slot them so they won't have a cushy life in prison with us paying for them ! Harsh ? No, realistic .
Guest ragumup
I wouldn't worry to much about putting water on their faces ....
pesky1972 5,264
Torture of terrorists I've no issue with. If you dish it out then you should expect to reap the consequences. I say, define terrorist, prove guilt and torture away. The problem with Guantanamo is that many of the detainees technically speaking weren't terrorists, but were Afghani POWs and as such their treatment & torture contrevened the Geneva convention. Others, including some relatively high profile British citizens, were held there for years and apparently subjected to torture. Their only crime, it appears, was that they were muslim. Not sure we can really claim any moral high ground and criticise the likes of China for their 'human rights' violations after this though..., not that they give a flying fcuk anyway! paulus 26
do you not have to be at war to be governed by the rules of the Geneva convention
paulus 26
and does it not just apply to the sick and wounded
Brigzy 1,298
Who were the high profile British Citizens held in Guantanamo ? They only became high profile because they were British passport holders. They had no allegiance to the UK, and only used their British nationality as a lever to get the human rights that Britain has signed up to! They wernt bothered about being Brits when they went off to Afghanistan to kill our troops. If they fight against us and terrorise us, then we should give them no quarter, and we should fight to win!
dare 1,103
Cant use rules surely against these people who behave worst than animals and have no morals? They may hold infomation that could save lives. f***ing human rights for a terrorist lol whatever next. My question is though why have they allowed this infomation to come out? Surely could of had a media black out and argued that this infomation coming out would possibly push more people towards terrorism.

thebiggerdog 160
if a british solider is captured and tortured is it still justified? torture by its very nature is ineffective and one of the most useless ways to gain intelligence... due to the fact that those being tortured will say anything to stop the torture. if you have to deal with an enemy, kill him or bring him before the courts and give him a fair trail.......anything else and your just as bad as the "Terrorist".
