midnight 657
That table is a lot of burl !! I've never used elm . I have all the equipment on order to stabilise my own wood . So new year I hope to use and sell a little more . I wish I was gifted with the stuff but in really not . I had a wood lathe a few years back and loved turning logs into match sticks but never hit any further ?

My first goes at leatherwork, a few errors but ok I think. Knife, obviously unfinished! Edited December 18, 2014 by Patterd Ales

Longers7 720
Looks nice that knife mate, are the scales elm? Your dad will love it.... I would !
Patterd Ales 59
Thanks fellas, yup Longers, burr elm. Really enjoyed making that. A beeswax block as polish seems to work well. Any ideas why the araldite I used with bronze powder to fill holes wouldn't set solid? The superglue I had for backup set hard, just did it too bloody quickly!
