jayjay 264 Posted December 11, 2014 Report Share Posted December 11, 2014 i'm no expert on training spaniels.......but I would have thought you should get the pups recall mastered first and getting it to stop when you command it to....... so you have at least some control over it when you take it out.......then progress from there, the pup needs to respond to your commands and I do believe the sharper the response the better...... just my opinion,,,,,,,, all the very best with your training, jay. 1 Quote Link to post
