RemyBolt 420
Quick question, can rats see in the red light spectrum? Has anyone tried this and if so, any success? Quote Link to post

moxy 617
I don't know if they can see colours? But it's certainly the light they react to and not the colour. I have tried all manner of different filters and colours. Quote Link to post

RemyBolt 420
Thanks guys. Not wasting my heard earned £5 on that red filter. Because I'm working enclosed, the back-lit screen lights everything up and the rats can obviously see me. So I was thinking of using an alternative lighting system to my NV system. I guess red light's not the answer then :-( Any suggestions? Quote Link to post
smecky 52
So what you saying you are using a lamp or say an ns50/200 with the red ir. Quote Link to post
meathumper 29
Put a large sheet over your head and ns, just have the barrel poking out.You may look like a twat, but who cares if your killing them. Quote Link to post
