Duck Nest Boxes

Next year my boss wants to hatch duck eggs I have started to catch up ducks but I never set up a duck laying pens. Do ducks laying in nest boxes and what is the best designs if they do pics and advice much apricated

Our ducks just bury them wear ever they feel like but they are a laying breed hope that helps

I not completely sure but on the estuaries and lakes and rivers they sometimes use large mesh cylinders with one end blocked (a bit like a waste paper bin) and it is anchored but floats which then has reeds or straw and stuff in for them to lay in ect

If there in pens just break up a bale of straw under a tin sheet or sheet of wood they will find it but get ready for plenty of shit there horrible to keep atb
