Gaz_1989 9,539
Yeh them walls with wire on top are nasty and as you say they are all over Scotland. I'm up this weekend and it's livestock country where I'm going so walls with barbed wire on top will be the norm. Hopefully she's equipped and luck will be on our side regarding the wire... Country Joe 1,411
one of the local golf courses i go on, has a new fence, double stranded barb on top, but a foot and a half behind it is the old fence with a single strand on top, a bad un, mines is just a rabbiting dog, and i would rather the bunny escaped, and he will take me back to the bury its popped down, and i can ferret it, rather than have vet bills, usually when a rabbit goes through a fence, it will escape anyway, unless it was open ground. s.e.s.k.u 1,893
Hate the stuff but it's unavoidable around me...my bitch goes under or through...a lot of the paddocks have wire and hedges or over-hanging trees so jumping isn't always an option.. Hopefully a speedy recovery for your dog! Atb sesku Edited December 8, 2014 by s.e.s.k.u Quote Link to post

I think along the same lines as yourself .... I like a dog to show prey drive,.but feck constantly sewing him up,.. for a poxy rabbit...! Barbed wire is an abomination,... Quote Link to post
