why doesn't someone put up the phone numbers of Company Directors, of the worst culprits, and then we can all phone them, at different times of the day, and see how they like it.

i know what you mean joe its annoying i got insurance of one of them compare websites never again fecking phone never stopped even though i had already got it and told them that they still wouldnt give up or them had a accident feckers

My brother has a kids toy that plays the jungle book song and whenever he gets a nuisance call he just asks them to hold for a second goes to the other room puts the toy on lays the phone next to it then goes back to watching the telly

Sometimes I feel these folk are just trying to do a job and earn money, better than scrounging benefits every week, even though I agree it can be annoying, with the TPS it needs updating, I do mine once a year, they clear all data and the new start date means anyone who has got the number cannot call it after that date, unless you fill out anything online afterwards and put your number, I rarely get calls doing it this way

Their a feken liberty and no matter how meny times ive told my land line supplyer i am still getting the fekers one has just phoned now about fekin solar panels after dashing to the phone so it didnt wake the wife whos just done a 12 hour night shift in a care home fore dementia sufferers i told them to feck off.

We are ex directory and still get plenty of nuisance calls, i start with "how did you get this number, its ex directory" and they hang up straight away, but you still got bothered for nothing

 

The junk mail you can do something about, if its got a business reply envelope in it, i just send them back empty, if everybody did it it would cost them money for no return, keep binning them and they just keep sending more hoping you'll buy, just a thought?

There a nightmare they tried selling all sorts to our old man in one convocation my dad told him he is blind he isn't at all just talking bollox to them lol but they tried selling him glasses hahaha thick as f**k lol another one was a leky company asking where he gets his from he told them he has my mother down bottom of garden on a bike powering a windmill for there electric hahaha f***ing class just fill them with shit see how they like it tell them all sorts and take the reall piss out of them a paki phoned other day selling some rubbish she told me her name was Debbie lol I told her mine Sanjay haha wasn't on the phone too long lol

I am ex directory but still get them , have just added a call blocker on my talk talk .. its a bit of a faf though you basically block the last number that called you .. it costs nothing to activate the service .. so time will tell as i only sorted it out last week

 

If i don't have the phone number stored in my handset then it gets blocked if they call several times after a quick google search of the number .. in reality folks shouldn't have to do this kind of thing .. but the amount of calls i get some days drives me round the bend

My grandparents get loads of these calls trying to sell them allsorts, paving, washing machine insurance, etc etc. Load of bollocks. Luckily they're savvy but even being on the TPS doesn't stop it.
