Deputy Dog 28
As above lads and lasses. Always treated my own dogs for injuries. Quite impressive what you can do with stitches and super glue. However I'm told that a man got prosecuted for stitching up his dogs wound! I'd be fooked if they convicted me of all the things I've done! Cheers all

dymented 2,220
its not illegal to treat your own dogs just be aware that the rspca will prosecute you for doing so even though you have not broken any law they will claim the dog was in pain and was suffering then it will be up to you to prove it was not . they will prosecute for any wounds on a dog no matter how small they get away with it under the 2006 animal welfare act stating you didnt get appropriate veterinary treatment even though its perfectly legal to treat your own animal . And as you all no the rspca will wast millions on a prosecution whether there right or wrong and they will twist ,lie ,fabricate evidence to nail you
