gnasher16 30,217
I've got a dog sleeping on my feet right now, keeps them nice and toasty Does sound like the old boy has circulation problems so not sure what to suggest if he's already been Drs. You're a top lad for caring gnash, something that's sadly lacking in society these days. Funny you should say that we got him a little Jack Russell a few months back just as a bit of company but the dog wont sit on the old boys feet......he,ll sit in his lap,in his arms but wont go near his feet not silly this dog !......Bless your hearts for the nice words and for voicing your opinions chaps he,s a nice old bloke we,ll get to work on some of the ideas over the coming weeks and ordered a pair of battery socks today so hopefully see a difference

RemyBolt 420
When I'm off snowboarding (yes this sounds minging, but it's amazing) a load of us have coffee with butter in it. Really keeps you warm when on the piste, or off piste. Really don't know if that's going to help the old-boy, as it's a general body warmer. I guess you could try a warm foot bath, but that's a temporary measure and won't resolve the real issue. Personally, get him to a doctor and get it checked out. oneredtrim 148
Psst Len....tell him to wiggle his toes akin to how the rock climbers execise thier fingers....make the lot (the lot of toes) stiff and move each one north and south..as if playin the piano with your feet. If he watches tv a lot then get him into doing it for the length of an advert...on the hr....any halfhr routines are gravy.
BGD 6,436
A mate of mine mentioned he was getting some compression socks for his flight to Australia next month and it made me think of this thread. They're supposed to increase bloodflow in the lower leg so if your old boys cold feet are down to poor circulation they might be worth a try?
