pappabear 128
hi all this is my first review in this section but thought i would have a go . i wanted some wellies that were warm and comfortable so decided to go for the grubs snowline 8.5 i ordered them from the grubs online website for £74.99 http://www.grubsbootsonline.co.uk/shop/4580619657/Grubs-Snowline and they came with free delivery and also a free pair of gardening gloves . ordered them last sunday evening and they were here tuesday morning , i have only worn them so far for walking the dogs and although it hasnt been very cold yet i have found them warm and very comfy the inside is all cushioned , the boots come to roughly 2" below my knees and my only gripe would be they could do with a draw string around the top to stop mud getting inside but i can live with that , i ordered my usual size for any shoe and they have plenty of room and despite the very wet mud i was walking through i never lost grip once . all in all i am very impressed at the moment and hopefully they will last . so if you are in the market for new wellies i would recommend having a look at these . pappabear 128
i will only be using them for walking the dogs and a few trips out with the air rifle , nothing too strenuous so hopefully they will be alright . Quote Link to post
TOMO 26,041
It's always dodgy giving a recommendation after just a few days,,,or even a few months,,,I should know ,,lol.. By the way that dirt getting in the wellys would be enough to put me off,,,,for those lads that walk miles off flat seed evry winter it really is annoying ,,that's why having the straps that tighten at the sided are a must 3 Quote Link to post
socks 32,253
Aigle ... I wear mine nearly everyday in the winter and I find them spot on ........ 8 Quote Link to post
WILF 46,634
Love my Chameaus, also got some neoprene muck wellies which are great........for walking seedy stuff personally I always opt for boots and gaiters The problem I have found is this country is getting decent "hunting" chest waders in neoprene........they just don't make them roomy enough to get decent clothes underneath for some reason Quote Link to post

I'm waiting on a reply now about my aigle getting these holes in them,,,,what's really annoying is I don't use them that much Quote Link to post

I'm waiting on a reply now about my aigle getting these holes in them,,,,what's really annoying is I don't use them that much had 2 pairs both split. barbed wire kills neoprene in seconds, tried a pair of hunters 2 weeks and leaking, 3 pairs of muck boots all split on the toes. It happens when a massive fat foot is squeezed into a boot meant for normal humans not a shreck look alike ......... 6 Quote Link to post
