I would like to say that to many supposed mentally ill people get away with murder (excuse pun)i mean wtf is schizophreina,is there even a such thing or what,people cant be getting away with murder no matter what some phycologist or fecking doctor says,its all bullshit if you ask me

She's being assessed, which I assume will mean that it'll be determined whether she is mentally ill before she's sent for trial. She wouldn't be the first to attempt to hide behind insanity as a defense strategy for a murder conviction..., but I think I'll leave it to the experts to decide on that one.

Nothing is clear as yet but the mother may have been suffering mental illness. Before anyone starts, I'm not attempting to defend her.., it would have been a hideous thing to do to another human being..., let alone your own child.

Hopefully all the facts will come out when/if she goes to trial. IF she has been suffering severe schizophrenia or the like, then it would at least offer some sort of explanation as to why it happened.

 

Not that the facts will really matter to most that have posted on here so far.

 

Anybody who can cut the heart out of a kid, theirs or not, must be a raving nut job, ffs who could do that if they were normal? I doubt she will have to put anything on?

 

Typical BBC article Pesky, at the very end, they mention her being originally from Zimbabwe, but then say "its said the family have lived in the town for many years" The important part is "its said" said by who? and why mention her being from Zimbabwe if they lived here for years? that would be called racist if they were naturalised citizens now, which they would be if they lived here "for years" Looks to me like they'll cover it up as a mental health thing no matter what the truth is, anything rather than associate it with importing primative cultures? Like i said above, she can't be normal, but its a culture issue as well imo.
