Russel Brand

Recommended Posts

Do you think the system is fair? Far as I'm aware brand is from a normal background and even if you think his over paid he earnt his money. I'm not anti farage but just can't see why everyone's so anti brand...you don't have to like him but don't you think the points he makes are valid?

One thing he espouses is for us not to vote. If no one voted , then the government of the day would remain in power. So, not voting doesn't change anything. If he realy wants to change things, he should be telling everyone to vote, just not for the mainstream parties, that's the only thing that will make them sit up and take notice.

I'd never sicken of punching the scruffy f****r !

How the f**k did he get in Katty Perry knickers. My hats off to him for that one

Quick question, if not ukip, who then?. I don't for one minute think Farage and his team will solve all problems, I also don't doubt the stronger they grow the more halfwits will materialise and they

use emotive and simplified arguments in order to win public support. throw in a few statistics which support you rview (theyd ont have to be true because nobody watching is going to check them) and either bully and bluster when you are on the back foot or answer a slightly different questiont o the one you were asked

a typical politicians debating tactics. BUT also russell brands debating tactics. he's not a very clever speaker, just relies on being loud and brash and appealling to the popular culture

oh, and next time you watch him, have a dictionary to hand, you will find a lot of the flashy words brand uses are actually not used in anything like the right context, they are simply remembered by rote and thrown into the conversation almost randomly, to look clever.

personally i would happily give him a good hiding. but then i could say the same thing about most politicians!!

Give him a good hiding? Bit strong. I'm sure he means well.

Are you a bit angry today?

Edited to say, you're right about the out of context words, makes things interesting

probably was a bit strong, but then i am ALWAYS angry......

"Farage is a politician who wants to change Britain for the better, weather you like him or not, he means what he says. Brand is basically a failed comedian and actor, who needs the publicity to sell his books and keep him in the public eye ! Like Geldof and Bono, I'd have far more respect for him if he led the way by giving half his fortune to the causes he shouts about"

Aye just like Farage who claimed ex amount of millions in expenses as a Euro mp and the same Farage who says he struggles on a combined income of over a hundred grand a year.

If he's for letting every tom dick and harry into the UK, that's where me and Brand part company, but he makes good points imo. I don't know how he's got all the money? The little bit of his comedy and entertaining ive seen was complete shite, and he's a bit of a "non celeb" more famous for who he's shagged than talent, but if he talks sense that shouldn't come into it in my book. A lot of posters here seem to like the dog eat dog system, but sound jelouse of a nobody that made it, wish id failed as bad as Brand

The bloke is a little stage school prat who's points and opinions are no more or less interesting (and mostly not as good) as some of the lads you read on here every day.

The place he comes from is a shining example of his "modern" Britain.......used to be a nice little main town where folk would go on Saturday to do their shopping etc........now its a multi cultural cess pit full of west Africans, Eastern Europeans, drug heads and all other forms of human detritus where the crime rate is shocking !!

In short, it's a piss hole..........needless to say "Right On" Russ don't live there any more !!! Lol

Brand seems to think if you're a druggie you're a victim even though you started drugs of your own free will...He's a lefty with all the rubbish that goes with that, supporting mass immigration ,socialism etc etc and he's the sort you would see at an anti hunting/shooting rally ...

Where does all this smack come from Rags, we can track down and use drones to kill insurgents willy nilly, but can't spot acres of opium poppies  Not to mention having control of the country they grow in?

I don't care about Brands private life, not my kind of bloke at all, but when he states the truth, like "no politician is trying to solve this country's problems" ill listen. Brigzy said Brand is a hypercrite, but ukip employ foreign workers to distribute their leaflets lmao, leaflets that bang on about British jobs for British workers  That's off the scale of hypercritical! I think some are hoping ukip will solve the growing muslim problem, hardly likely when they have muslim mp's? And lets not forget the "champion of the people" Farage himself, the bloke who's going to put the "Great" back into Great Britain, gets caught trying to hide his own money and avoid tax  Real trustworthy character eh lads :whistling:

The system is totally broken and corrupt, and when somebody stands up and tells it how it is, he's a wanker  There's no hope.

Once again, distorted facts about UKIP. They DIDN'T have foreigners delivering leaflets. They ordered their leaflets from a BRITISH company, who then subcontracted the order to a foreign company who printed them. UKIP weren't aware of this, and when it was pointed out to them, they have refused to deal with the company again. Farage isn't screaming for the re-distribution of wealth, as Brand is; if Brand wants to re-distribute the wealth why not be an example and start with his ? He is a hippoctite, because all this is just a publicity ploy to keep him in the public eye, and help him sell more books and make more money !

You mean they came clean when they got caught at it, typical politicians, and no mention of farage hiding his own money? If Brand was a skint nobody he wouldn't be listened to like the rest of us, and i think pointing out the big companies just don't pay tax after making profits out of our population when the rest of us are hounded for every penny, hardly counts as asking for the redistribution of wealth, its "one law for everybody" nothing more. Face the fact that all politicians work for themselves, and the ruling minority, at the expense of the majority. If you're looking for any politician to sort the country out you'll be sadly disappointed mate.

Are UKIP the answer, will they be just as corrupt as the others ? Who knows, but I'm so disillusioned with the lies of LibLabCon I'm willing to give them a chance. What's the alternative ? Champagne Socialists, Millionaire Anarchists ? Not for me ! I can see straight through the likes of Brand.. he only wants the publicity; and anyhow, I despise him and Ross for what they did to Andrew Sachs; neither of them should have been allowed back on our screens, purile, spoilt, rich people with very little real intelligence.
