dare 1,103
What do you guys see him saying that you disagree with so much? Having a few beers before i go out so won't reply trying to go in depth. Do you lot believe we had a true democracy and fair systems in place? Seems to me it's one rule for the elite and one rule for the rest of us. Why is there no normal people running the country? How can they tell us how to live if they haven't lived it? The fact farage made such a big point about the fact his had a real job says it all really. The sun the paper for the people didnt put on the front page about normal every day people being evicted instead they tried to attack someone for speaking up for them :/. The same sun paper who hacked the phone of a dead school girl and god knows what else they got up to. Also the same sun paper which is run by rupert Murdock who has how many off shore accounts and pays how much to lobbies to change the laws in regards to taxes?
Brigzy 1,298
Dare, the media, mainstream politicians, all have one thing in common, that is to support the "establishment" people like Farage and Brand want to change the "establishment", but Brand hasn't the education or background to be a spokesman. He is a multi millionaire who lives in a penthouse in London, and has a mansion in Hollywood and millions in the bank...... Hardly Che Guevara , is he ? Farage is a politician who wants to change Britain for the better, weather you like him or not, he means what he says. Brand is basically a failed comedian and actor, who needs the publicity to sell his books and keep him in the public eye ! Like Geldof and Bono, I'd have far more respect for him if he led the way by giving half his fortune to the causes he shouts about.
Truther 1,579
It would be foolish of farage to go up against Brand in a debate . No it wouldn't , Farage is skilled in debating and educated... Brand is an idiot who made good in the media and youth driven culture. Farage would destroy him in a political debate. Wishful thinking mate, Farge would pull out of QT if he's got any sense.
Guest ragumup
Brand tries to intimidate in a debate ...we'll see this Friday at 10.30 pm .

Better to turn up and rely on his pals in the media to spin it to look like he "won" even if he lost.

Must be different media to what I read, the media cannot wait to attack, make things up, or distort anything Farage or UKIP say ! The Tory press, the left wing press and even the so called independent press all attack UKIP, simply because of their vested interests. It would be great to have a truly independent media who reported facts instead of twisting things to suit their own interests.

I doubt its on the cards though after he tried to put his money in a tax haven, so he didn't have to pay tax into the system he wants to sort out.

Didnt know he did that, i support with what ukip are saying i don't believe we can let anyone into the country. I just think brand hits many points about the problem with the systems in place. It's one rule for the elite and another for everyone else and everyone just accepts it or is so busy slaving away for shit money struggling to get by to know what's going on. Is Farage screaming about how unfair the system is, like Brand is ? Farage is a politician, who is trying to change things through political means. Brand is a narcissist who thrives on publicity and only wants fame and to sell his books. If Farage was telling the world that the rich are evil and we need to redistribute wealth, then I would be the first to say he should start by giving away his money. But it's Brand who is espousing this nonsense while living in a penthouse and having a mansion in Hollywood and millions in the bank. Which one is the hippocrite ? I think we all know the answer to that.
leegreen 2,169
I actually don't mind him, but then I have a couple of twats as friends. He has a fantastic vocabulary and gives it to the powers to be. For me that puts him in my good books He was more outrageous when he was on the gear.

Farage is a stooge, couldn't tie his f***ing shoe laces up, Brand could sit back now and live a very good life, i probably would, but he's sticking his neck out and telling the truth of the situation, i don't expect the bloke to give his money away so he can have a say. Entertainers tend to be extrovert people mate, bit f***ing obvious that one.
dare 1,103
Do you think the system is fair? Far as I'm aware brand is from a normal background and even if you think his over paid he earnt his money. I'm not anti farage but just can't see why everyone's so anti brand...you don't have to like him but don't you think the points he makes are valid?
