Andrew Russ 31
Third trip out for my gill she's been fed and watered ready for a mornings work. No nets today still to much cover on the hedgerow so got the old faithful 12g along for the trip, and the Mrs has decided to tag along with me this morning ( should be fun keeping her quiet). Well I'll report back later chaps. Edited December 6, 2014 by Andrew Russ Quote Link to post

Andrew Russ 31
Well not a good day one big dig .........................Mrs got stuck in the mud left her Wellies behind laughed so hard nearly wet myself so dug her out . Ferret seems more interested in trashing through the hedge following the runs rather than going down the burries it is only her thrird trip out???? There were a few times where she ran in and then came bolting out pretty fast? Worked a hedge 200 yard long there must have been someone at home???? But no bolters at all. Any advice would be appreciated. Quote Link to post

neil b 2,465
Afew weeks ago we tackled some long hedgerows, at any one time we had half a dozen ferrets in starting with 2 at the top 2 in the middle and 2in the end, the rabbits bolted well resulting in 36 for just after dinner. cheers Neil b 1 Quote Link to post
