Update On Summer.... 6Mth Old Lurcher

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone... As promised on a previous post here's an update on the pup I rescued.....

Miss summer AKA the shredder!

Below are the most recent photos of her (less than a week).

She's currently standing at 19" tts..

And weighs 13.4k

The burning questions I have as always are:

what do you think her mix is?

How much bigger do you think she will get?

She has a short coat, flat about 1 inch in length with some fanning on the tail, neck and flanks....

So my guess is

Collie/whippet/greyhound?

I look forward to reading yr responses

Cheers

Jo

I''ve never used a harness before... A friend recommend I try it to see if she would pull less.. and it worked a treat!

She's pretty good off the lead, runs flat out for a little while then walks slightly out front of me.... She definitely hasn't been blessed with the graceful run of a whip/grey, she's very gangly and heavy footed haha

She'll grow out of the gangly heavy footed stuff, well certainly the gangly stage

Lol socks..... I take it you don't approve of a working dog in a raspberry coloured coat..... Awe we are girls after all

I don't see the need for one the dog has a perfectly good coat on its body already and it's hardly cold is it ... All that coat will do is stop the dogs natural coat from getting weather resistant and nice and thick and potentially cause the dog to overheat .......
