walshie 2,804 Posted December 1, 2014 Report Share Posted December 1, 2014 Exactly 2 months ago I posted a thread about how I was given a new permission out of the blue to shoot a golf course. It really was riddled with foxes and I like to think we've done a fairly decent job of reducing the numbers. Since then, the farmer who's land backs onto the golf course has given me permission to shoot his land (which obviously has the same fox problem - even though he shoots them himself). This morning I got a call on my mobile from another golf course not 2 miles from this one. He wants me to shoot there too. This isn't to gloat, it's to tell the members who are having trouble finding permission that it will come as long as they keep trying. Once you have the first, however small, the others come much easier because word gets around. Without so much as a door knock or phone call, I've got an extra 500 acres to shoot i didn't have before.
