Cargol 302
Never Worked or seen the dog in the flesh but there is lads on here that would have done.He is probably the most used Stud dog and most if not all Plummers around today will have lines going back to him. He was By a dog called Damien and out of a Bitch called Rip. He sired alot of well known dogs. Viper probably being the most well known. I personally think the better dogs go back to his litter brother Rupert. Rupert being Vandals Sire out of the Bitch Pagan 2. Vandal is very well known for his working ability and alot of lads that work Plummers to ground will have dogs saturated with his blood. Each to there own i suppose. There is alot of lads on here that have had plummers for decades and will be able to tell you alot more about Rocky. And what ever else you want to know. But as its to do with Plummers there will be alot of dibate on the subject. Hope that helps some pal. Quote Link to post

mango 343
Thanks for the replies lads, tinytiger thanks for the link to the thread of pontes, i was really interested in how he got on as a worker, i knew the dog as a youngster and had the chance to own him before he went to plummer and then to c.p. Always think should i have taken the dog on,mind you the stud fees must have amounted to a few bob. Quote Link to post
stormyboy 1,352
The Story I was told is that he was worked to ground from 6 months old, worked sore and jibbed. Don't know if there's any truth in it. Quote Link to post
mango 343
The Story I was told is that he was worked to ground from 6 months old, worked sore and jibbed. Don't know if there's any truth in it. He was started to young and should have been given time off after starting really well. The lad that had him it was his first terrier to dig to and he was a bit to keen and would'nt listen to sound advice.I always thought that with a good lay off that he would bounce back and be a good dog, seems he did work ok for cp which is good as he was a lovely stamp of a terrier.
