neil b 2,336
This week saw just me and the lurcher out tackling some woodland covered in deep ivy, it's very shaley under foot and the warrens are not too deep. The first set the lurcher marked was a nice little 7holes, ferret in and in no time rabbit number 1 in the bag then we moved on into the wood the lurcher marked some deep ivy so nets on checked for any more holes checked again and ferret in, a few minuites later bunny was on the move, the lurcher tracking progress moving around the warren then from under the deep ivy out of an un netted bolt hole out bolts the rabbit away into thick cover, nothing else was marked by the lurcher so we called it a day with a grand total of 1 . Happy hunting cheers Neil b Edited November 30, 2014 by neil b 6 Quote Link to post

neil b 2,336
That ivy never really seams to die off completely no matter what the weather does, I also got stung with a nettle in the process Quote Link to post
