Blackwater River

Had an afternoon on the river blackwater today at Sandhurst meadows cracking little river had chub and dace roach and perch to 2 pound I reckon I got 30 pound f fish in. 3 hours definatly fished the swim out or pike activity ruined the last half hour all was caught on stick float and maggots and caster anyone get the chance to have a go on this little river do it its fantastic sport lots of chub as well will put some pics up soon

I've had some good bags on the Blackwater, probably from the swim you fished. Went down there last week, but it was flooded. Managed a couple of 2lb chub under the tree on bread.
