Whatever the 'why's and wherefore's', it seems pretty pointless and unnecessary, to say the least..................

makes me cringe like a picture that came up on facebook the other day of a pile of skinned dogs some apparently still alive, heart breaking. Nothing wrong with killing things to eat but at least be humane about it
