blackmaggie 3,376
There are loads of saluki cross bred litters and a large percentage are shit. Far less pures about but unfortunately there are a lot of dicks breeding pures for coin and f***ing the breed up. Its better to have quality in a small amount than an abundance of shite. I think you could say this for all manner of types in both lurchers and purebreds desertbred? I will add though that I get sick to death of hearing people whose dogs live off the reputaion of one or more in it's lineage..yes its great to know your dogs are out of proven workers but its even better when your own hard work pays off and your own dog makes his mark in the field..it boils my piss to hear people saying their dogs are out of this and that or littermate to this when in reality their own dog has done fook all!! Next scenario is pups on the ground and being sold on the assumption their dog could/should or would be better than its littermates or whatever? It ain't uncommon infact there's more litters being bred like this then any other method id imagine?..then we wonder why there are so many inferior "well bred" dogs around..oh well rant over for now haha..oh and before anyone jumps down my throat,my crew see a wee bit..I have no pups forthcoming either haha..just whinging about the state of affairs some of the b*****ds who call themselves dogmen have managed to tarnish the names of good working dogs by breeding from untested animals just to make a few £££££.... amen to that andy no wonder certain lads keep certain lines tight in there own circle Quote Link to post
spiderfly 111
if one of my pures pulled back on anything it wouldn't be in my kennel next day guaranteed I have a young bitch she is a s nervous as f**k and basically I rescued her from a numpty but she will run on Charlie at every opportunity if she cant survive in my pack she would be pts also where pures are concerned I don't take prisoners and never will.from all your posts you do nothing but blow up your dogs to be the greatest, bet your one of these fellas asking hundreds for these well bred dogs, your very interested in what lines everyone else has, why not share the great line you have so we can all rush out and buy one of these dogs that can do it all! So your dogs are nervous that's not a gene I taught would be left live in the desert???? 1 Quote Link to post
desertbred 5,490
Spiders web the nervous dog is one I took of a numpty probably similar to yourself. I don't breed dogs here for coin or otherwise deliberately to stop planks like you getting hold of any pups. As for how good my dogs are that is my concern you can put top dollar I don't keep bullx.s now go worry about your own kennels. 1 Quote Link to post

steve2507 522
My pal used my coursing dog to his saluki bull grey line breds and the results are awesome these dogs simply annihilate the Charlie's and other quarry and can do the numbers game easy Steve2507 Tess out same litter there's a touch of quality bull in the mix and IMHO it's nessacery for out n put fox dog has to be right bull blood thoughone crazy arsed litter that was bred there and tess has proved her worth over and over again I watched in horror last week as she was kicked ,stamped on and nearly gouged to death by a big thing but would she hell let go or give in . The bull is very watered down in the line but you can see it's there in amongst the saluki n grey . Quote Link to post

mushroom 13,000
He lives up to his name Sometimes I wonder if a size 11 up side of his head might actually make the twat listen although for 4 months old he is doing very well...... just on his terms lol Quote Link to post
FUJI 17,327
4 month old? Two more month and he will be out coursing then as that seems the norm with most of the coursing crew haha 1 Quote Link to post
desertbred 5,490
two more months that will only be February not warm enough or crops not long enough to start coursing for some of them but if some deep snow January that might all change 2 Quote Link to post

So why don't you need bull in a lurcher? What is thus great line you hav? Quote Link to post
desertbred 5,490
Give your head a shake Spiderfly the lad asked about salukis when he started the topic you went of topic and introduced bullx, sand began talking talking bollocks.Do you know any saluki lines Idoubt it so why should I waste my time discussing them with you. As for blowing my dogs up if I have done this tell me what dogs I have got? You are a grade A divvy I said with a good saluki you don't need to x feck all let alone bull its kids in the game who introduced the bulls and the only times bulldogs contributed anything was in the 1800,s to put a bit of aggression in the greyhound stock that had been imported here but you being a expert stockman would be able to explain all that you really are a plank so now I will ignore any posts you make.
