Matt 160
Personally, I'd avoid due to the connection with certain ex members who let folks down badly.... You can't really beat fourteenacre or Magnum for quality of service and product Quote Link to post
nod 285
He didn't have anything to do with him after that Matt Quote Link to post

Mr Muddy 141
I had a look on Fourteenacre for #55 body grips, and read: “these very effective traps are currently only approved for use on rats and mice, although that might soon change.” Does anyone know what that means? They’re not going to be banned are they? Quote Link to post

Not to sure mate maybe it's because the 55 and 110 use the same spring so maybe the 55 could be approved for the same use as the 110, or I could be way out 1 Quote Link to post

They’re not going to be banned are they? They will get stoat and squirrel added to the 55 no doubt soon its just a different jaw dimension to the 110. I'm sure a few year back Robin from Magnum trap co mentioned it. Mr Muddy 141
Ideally I would have got 55s mate, but in the end I just added some 110s to a KG order – so I’m ok for the moment. I will be getting some 55s though, once I’ve saved some pennies. So if you know of a good deal on them I would like to hear about it. Thanks. Quote Link to post

myersbg 1,385
How do suppliers in this country come up with such high prices on 110s, in the us they can supply them for $36 per dozen, thats about £20. Quote Link to post

Because the sole importer had to submit the traps for approval and has the costs of importing the traps. He's also not in business to make a loss! I know it seems harsh, but let's not forget that if it hadn't been for two very good trappers who invested time and money getting the BMI's approved for use in the UK, we'd still have Fenns, and not a lot else Quote Link to post

Don't think you'd get the BMI's for that money in the State's lad! You'd get other brands at that price maybe, and if you ever handled one, you'd know why!
