John Stott 202
Thought this would interest some folk. Bought it a month ago from See All of Idaho. Can be mounted on anything. Tried on a rimfire first, but ended up on this Ultra. The fibre block gathers light and shows a small triangle through the rear magnifying lens. Parallax free, the tip of the triangle is centred on the target. It is adjustable for elevation and windage, weighs a few ounces. Zeroed to thirty yards it will knock the middles out of HFT targets out to fifty for me consistently. Used it for rabbits and rats so far with very good results. I like shooting irons but trying to get a set up on a PCP is nigh on impossible, especially the front blade and found this after a search on Google. Nice folk to deal with, it arrives well packaged and within a week. $98 plus $20 p&p is pretty reasonable, downside is £21 Customs duty at this end. However its tough, well made and a good alternative to iron and optics. Good in low light as well, have used it in dark barns with good results. Takes some practice and getting used to, but worth the effort. It reduces the weight on the rifle too so improves handling. There are a few U Tube reviews for anyone interested.
