F350 22
Allright mate, further to what the others have said, don't feed it in the cage as territorial issues can compound the original problems. Mate had the same problem with a dog and had a nightmare of a job. Take your time with him and all the best.. Quote Link to post

bunnyboiler 1,053
What you got to pick his food bowl up for while hes eating, why do you need to put your hand in his bowl and why feed him by hand, That's what I was thinking how would you like it going to a restaurant ordering your food then the waiter picking up your T Bone and teasing you with it give the dog his f++king food and let him eat it Quote Link to post
dare 1,103
It's a dog not a human lol I pay for the food and I'm the boss if I want to pick up the bowl I can. Take the advice of skycat and desert and rebuild the bond and trust with the dog. It's an issue that can be sorted and if was me I'd probably feel guilty and have to fix it. Hope the owner gets educated on his wrong doings. Best of luck with it. Quote Link to post

Casso 1,261
What's the other issue the pup has, The biggest problems with threads like this is how we interpret growling, Some people see fear and some dominance Quote Link to post
morton 5,368
What you got to pick his food bowl up for while hes eating, why do you need to put your hand in his bowl and why feed him by hand,Part and parcel of responsible dog ownership, especially if kids share the same household, teaching a mutt to accept a little intrusion into its daily activities also teaches the same youngster to accept other intrusions it may encounter in the field,if you don,t know or understand BASIC dog training and responsible ownership then?. The fact is the dog should happy with humans around it's food. And this one isn't. Quote Link to post
