peterosborne8 55
I have managed to secure some brilliant land literally on my doorstep, well just over my back wall, nearly 500 acres of hill and moorland. These grounds produce everything from grouse to mink and plenty of woodcock, which I have still to master shooting. Over the last few months the dogs have gone from strength to strength flushing to the gun working along side the ferrets and proving there worth there weight in gold. All I need to do is better my shot lol. The youngest of the two of which I bred, retrieves to hand and releases un-like her mother who likes to oven prep any birds before I get to them lol. Here's a few pics hope you like them. 13 Quote Link to post

wirral countryman 2,110
Nice one Peter, good to see Plummers getting plenty of work, I used to hunt with a bobbery pack in North Wales about 25 years ago, about 10 of us shotguns, bullet rifles, terriers, lurchers, springers and they were great days walking the mountain drawing cover, woods, earths and everything else that we could find, you'd have the helicopter out over you these days, can't beat good permission, WM Quote Link to post

peterosborne8 55
Wc they get worked nearly every day when I'm home from work mate. I'm very lucky that where I live is a shooting community and there is shoot land all around so no choppers over here, the sound of guns is a everyday thing lol. Keith it's always a brill day out on the fell even if you come home with a empty bag especially when I've been looking at the sea for weeks at a time. 1 Quote Link to post
