Nick3439 83
I have a .410 folding Parkemy side by side. The folding mechanism is operated by a push button on the receiver that is part of a crossbolt type pin. Pushing this in moves it across 'unlocking' the hinge from the lug allow the barrels to now move freely all the way back on themselves and 'fold' rather than 'break' The hinge has now worn so this lug no longer holds it in place. How would you repair this? My local gunshop suck teeth and just start quoting ££££'s for simple work as if it's too much effort on 'cheap guns' so I can't be bothered to go to them; as its not a 'stressed part' I thought a standard welder etc may be able to repair Quote Link to post

Cedric 132
Talk to an engineer / machinist / tool maker. Looks as though a competant metal smith should be able to do something. Quote Link to post
