i am thinking about geting a springer spaniel, what are they like at marking rabbit holes up?

I'm sure you could train a springer to do most anything, how well they would do it is another matter.

 

In my experience, all springers want to do with rabbits is chase them, even when they have been trained not to, you can see they really want to.

I have a mate who is a keeper and he has 2 springers which are top class ferrting dogs which will mark +hold rabbits in the net and are also used as gun dogs worth there weight in gold.
