slip-em 1
Ive recently moved into my new house, and seriously thinking about getting a new lurcher. These days we don't seem to get out lamping all that much, and spend the majority of the time with the dogs bushing and ratting. The land round here consists mainly of smaller fields so I reckon a big lurcher would be wasted,as it wouldn't be able to reach its full potential. So im thinking smaller, quick on the take off, nimble and something with plenty of grit and determination and be able to hold if need be.My pal had a bull whippet which was a cracking mooching dog, only 19" to shoulder but the heart of a lion and was the perfect mini lurcher.I thinking about investing in one myself now, but am unsure which x to get either half or 1/4.Has any body worked the half x and what was the disadvantages and what did it excel at? Im thinking more 1/4 bull as I prefer a more racey type.Does anyone know of any litters coming up or anyone that breeds these types.Ive herd of pocket rockets but havnt been able to find any or anyone who can put me in the right direction or any advise...
