peterhunter86 8,627 Posted August 21, 2015 Report Share Posted August 21, 2015 I didn't read all the comments I'm out on the beer my dad had hew heart attacks about twn years ago and after a few tests he fFound out he had cancer in his lungs he refused chemo and got one of his lungs taken out we thought he would be dead in two year's the cnut is out living everyone and he still smokes three or four fifty gram packs of tobacco a week 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

whippet 99 2,613 Posted August 22, 2015 Report Share Posted August 22, 2015 Best of Luck mate A Positive attitude and a will to live goes a long way, indeed but It doesn't prevent the out come, every cancer is different , sorry too hear about it it is what it is mate I'm proud as punch of him for his attitude . don't see you popping in as much these days mate good to see you posting again or maybe I've just missed em hope family is keeping well .Thank you pal , all is good , kids doing well , as you know they lost there mum over a couple of years ago too secondary breast cancer , it was too late when they found it , it was on her lungs , then went too her brain then spine , she had radio therapy on her brain too ease the pain but too be honest it gave her another six months of living in and out of hospice , through pain , some good days , some bad , all in all not a pleasant site , it gave me time too think a lot about things , when she died it still hit me , kids felt my pain but didn't realise what was happening , my youngest starts the big school in September , he's like a leech too me won't leave me side , but totally understandable what he been through , we do everything together , me eldest is so mature and I'm so proud of him , there was a lot of anger when she went from him and me , and basically just hit the gym every day too take my aggression out , after two years I still hit it nearly every day , I met a girl there and were going strong , cancer is a horrid disease , and will effect every family in one way or another , , I've had my fAir share but no doubt the shite will show it's face again , hope your family are doing well , atb pal x 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Apparently they all go through it as his mental age is still only around 36 months not so bad when u see a two year old throwing a tantrum but when a six year old does it who's built like a tank its not so good ,we will get there with him .
