Look guys im 28 i work hard for my two daughters. When i grew up we didnt have alot of money and when i was at secondary school the school was wuite posh and went on skiing holidays every year

Dear Mr Tax man, this is how I make some cash on the side without declaring it.   TC

but he is an electrician ... by the time theyve waffled a load of shite to you about watts and ohms and wrong fuses.. drank the mandatory 20 cups of tea it really equates to 5 hours of actual work

Can't knock a man for wanting to get ahead and grafting, fair play to you sunshine. All I will say is, look at the whole picture, if your going to put that much effort into being all paid up at 50 don't forget they have dreamed up all sorts of schemes to keep you paying. Not least they will nick your house off your kids if you need to go in an old folks home or something.......those c**ts never stop taking so keep sight of exactly who you are working for. ;)

not if you set up a trust they cant touch you or your kids as the frust owns the property. Electricians do earn good money i took home a nice amount last year but i was looking at something i could do at home on the evenings for money maybe it was just a thought i dont really need it i just like earning money for me and the kids and the boss lady
they don't earn good as what they did wet trades earn more money than sparks and plumbers now
how much we talking here 50k?

Good on ya for wanting to earn money I can't stand people who moan their skint but don't help themselves. Don't think anyone can knock ya for that but I just hope you enjoy life that's alot of hours to be working. We're only here once and I still believe money does buy happiness but don't let money become your god.

If you are on 4 on 4 off, then agency HGV driving during 2 of your off days would help put a decent amount in the bank. As long as you stick to drivers hours legislation, you can put together a limited company and put the money through that to help reduce the tax burden. Get a good accountant and make sure that it is all legal and you are away.
