I do hope you are having a wind up when you wrote this. If not, you shouldn't even have a dog. If you can't be responsible enough to keep your kids away from the controls of shock collar ... words fai

Have you tried them metal strips you get from B&Q?   Plasterers use them on corners before plastering i think?   I did both my kennels in them when I got them. Cost peanuts...

Id put mesh on the front of shed with metal strips on frame,or use plastering beads,

It isn't fair to muzzle a dog all the time it is in the kennel: it needs to itch itself, groom itself, not to mention drinking when it needs to. Even a basket type muzzle won't really allow a dog to drink properly. I feel for you as I've had a couple of terriers the same way inclined. In the end I made sure they had large willow branches to chew on at all times: that did the trick, and willow isn't dangerous at all, quite the opposite. Failing that, if the dog feels frustrated at being confined, get it a giant dog wheel to run on: only joking!

its either new kennel breeze block more money, or muzzle him see how it goes with it . like said he as a lot of exercise +well worked and beef bones . carnt say he not pacified .

Ohh here she is, always got something to say this one. Writes a poxy book and knows it all lol ray it looks cracking mate, and if you want to muzzle YOUR dog then you do that pal. Don't pay any attention to that old bat, nobody knows a dog better than its owner

So you think it is fair to keep a dog kennelled and muzzled 20+ hours a day? Wow.

People are just making a few suggestions to him ?

:laugh: THL at its best.. Let me read your book and I`ll give you an honest opinion.. Theres a reason pounds are brick built, its so bored dogs dont chew them down or have to be muzzled 20+ hours, but what do I know, mines is only a pup that doesnt chew its pen.

Just get some galv sheets and line the inside with them up to about 30inches high, it does get cold to the touch but if you got plenty of straw or bedding it will be fine, I'm sure he don't feel the cold much anyway? He won't chew through galv sheets end of problem

thanks mate  ,might try them sound about right, you right he don't feel the cold much got good coat thick skin on him,
