air gun ant 1,666 Posted November 11, 2014 Report Share Posted November 11, 2014 right chaps, the mrs and i and the 2 dogs are p**sing off in the camper for 4 days at the weekend but we dont know where to go? were thinking scotland or wales, but pretty much all the campsites are closed now so does anybody fancy pointing me towards some nice secluded spots next to the sea ( i know its her birthday but i need to spend most of my time fishing or ill go mad) we will only be staying one night in each location and i promise not to tell another soul if you feel like giving me your best fishing spots and how to fish them lol cheers lads Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I know of one place nice club house there mid day tides that will mean neap tides great for flounder bashing. Best bait smelly old black lug. You might get the odd one but it would only be the odd one. There is another place about five or six miles down the estuary where you might get some codling, but no guarantees. Sorry. mouse 282 Posted November 12, 2014 Report Share Posted November 12, 2014 stayed at Brighouse a few years back in our motorhome.nice rough coastline and tidy beach as well.you can use the golf club bar for a drink in evenings.not a sea fisherman myself but there were a lot of people fishing off beach and from the rocks mate and catching a fair bit.
