gnasher16 30,382 Posted November 5, 2014 Report Share Posted November 5, 2014 Does it even exist anymore....i didnt think it was 1 straight route anymore doesnt it split in different sections i dont know.......went from Kentucky to Nevada back in the ,s,... 6 of us in one of them f****n great big yank motorhome things took about 10 days.....i forget exactly where route 66 go,s to and from but i know we didnt really touch it as we went up as far as Michigan and down as far as Mississippi........will be a great experience if your thinking about it best of luck if you do Quote Link to post Share on other sites

We would have been on some of the 66 but can't rightly remember where. Springfield, St Louis, Tulsa, Tucumcari, Flagstaff, Barstow. Those sort of places. Vegas too. Took us 4 days to get to the Grand Canyon, then 6 days dossing about from there to LA. Fuel was dirt cheap back then. 3300 miles cost us about £100. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
