Libyan Soldiers Expelled ...........

Recommended Posts

Libyan soldiers training in the UK have been sent home early, following a series of serious allegations, including the sexual assault of a woman, and the separate rape of a man on Sunday, in Cambridge.

More than 300 Libyans had been based at Bassingbourn Barracks, as part of a G8 initiative to promote stability in Libya, following the overthrow of Colonel Gadaffi.

The soldiers were due to train here until the end of November, but their stay has been curtailed, and future secondments are now in doubt. The Libyans are expected to be returned home in the next few days, while the MOD has admitted that there has been 'disciplinary issues'.

At least 3 soldiers are believed to have left the barracks, without permission, and are claiming political asylum ........................

Or British army even ......

I don't think we should be bringing them here and training them in the first place. They are reckless and undisciplined, as has now been proven, and any training given now is liable to come back and b

The British army has trained foreign armies almost from it's conception , it's certainly not a new thing. Plenty of British soldiers get sent to the glasshouse or prison or the para's (joke) so when dealing with inexperienced or stupid troops you should expect a percentage of trouble. How did they get off the camp? What is their punishment? Sounds like a night out in Newport to be honest.

Have a listen to the news a bit more to it than that .......

They are reckless and undisciplined, as has now been proven, and any training given now is liable to come back and bite us in the future. Are these not the same people who were pleading for our help not so long ago when they were fighting against Gaddafi's regime?... then after they overthrew him they started smashing up the Canadian, Australian, US and UK war graves... Leave them and let them get on with it in their own countries.
