My grandfather and his blind friend are the last two remaining out of the group he grew up with I had him through the west yesterday to vist him. During the Second World War his friends father had to Germans from a pow camp helping out on the farm after the war ended and they went home he always kept in touch writing letters over the years, after that german died his son continued writing now his granddaughter writes to the Germans . The german lass who's 18 wrote a letter last month said they were hearing all about the food banks etc in britian if she wanted to go stay in Germany for a while she was more than welcome so they could "feed them up" ..

 

Crazy what they must be hearing and thinking of us in the world outside of these islands!

Aye shiit being spread all over Europe and beyond at the moment. They're worried about Britain leaving the EU and looking strong so other countries hear the bs to discourage anti EU sentiment....... It's not working

an old farmer friend of mine (dead now, god bless him) had some germans work on his farm during the war. one day when they were harvesting peas they came up and said in broken english "we want peace" to which the farmer replied "we all want peace, you b*****ds started it". the germans were most upset, protesting "no, no, we want peace to eat, we dont get any vegetables in the camp"
