mhopton 807
My pup ever since his injections was with me best part of every second I was back home from work, apart from retrieve and basic commands ,stay stop has had no training,I suppose he just watched and learnd.i was told at a very young age with my first lurcher don't wast time training the mut son 'a good dog will learn itself all you need todo is take it to where the rabbits are and it will do you proudly. My grandad had a good way of telling me things more so he was always Wright It's not the numbers for ME and blade its been out there with him watching him doing what we both love 3 Quote Link to post

No big numbers but after a summer of some training am hopping to have a half right season next winter..plenty retrieve work to be done till then.day work suits me .ie bushing and when I get my pair of Jill's soon will be bolting them for her..as said plenty left she needs to learn yet. 1 Quote Link to post
jamie_rob 215
Great to hear people getting out working the dog but why do you all want to get high numbers? I know a few lads who go for big bags but haunt the spot then complain about there is nowt there or its lamp shy so why wreck it by smashing the spot. Most have massive freezer Quote Link to post
~REDWALL~ 60
never had big bags my self really .i said only her first season ..but am guessing they do it to test dog ect ..plus alot of permission folk arent the only one on it ..shootin .ferreting ect ..so might be a case of get them when you can ..and if you got a use for them ..then why not Quote Link to post
