Dog Transporting

Excuse my lack of knowlege on running dogs im still learning but im after some info and ideas on how you guys get your dogs about , i dont mean car/van etc i mean in regards to boxes , cages etc ...

 

Iv got a mid size van so was after some advice / pics to help me decide on what to do

If I had a van I would whack in a mesh divider out of 2" x 2" Galv sheet mesh and put matching doors on the back so that the back doors can be opened and the dogs are still contained. Probably get 2 dogs in each side depending on van size.

 

I haven't got a van just an estate car and I'm probably gonna downsize to something smaller as the missus hates driving it. Only got one lurcher so don't need a massive motor.

I could put her in the back of my van but any hard braking or anything could cause injury , terrier lads use boxes so surely a bigger box would work ? Im tempted to knock one up or buy one any pics guys ?

Back of the van has done me for years but is a good idea think it's going to be the law soon in case of accidents

I have got a toyota hilux D4D and I had the back of the truck meshed out and had compartments made for nets traps bolt traps etc with a purpose built shelf on the top for the dogs that three dogs can lay on easily ... My dogs sit on my back seat ............

Estate car with windows blacked out get 6 lurchers in no bother that's wat we been using for 3 years with no bother and nosey cnuts can't see dogs through windows atvb

Nice set up socks , iv drawn up some ideas for a box with storage box/brackets for spades and gear ! I will upload pick when its finished , thanks again for your input guys
