Recommended Posts

Never tried grubs but imo mucks are shite , the soles wear down to quick , once they get a bit of wear your on your arse when walking on wet grass .. wont buy them again

im wearing dunlop puraforts at the minute and imo there a good wee boot keep your feet warm are hard wearing and comfy enough to wear all day ...

I had two pairs of muck boots and, although comfy, warm and dry, I also found that they wore out quickly and I fell over a lot (non-alcohol related!).

I swapped to the grubbs stalker and it's just as warm, comfy and dry but lasts longer and I stay vertical. Not as comfy as leather boots but there's a lot of clay around here so my usual woodland walks can be almost completely underwater in mid-winter.

I had the Muck boots, think they were called Tay, I hadn't them long, so the soles were not worn, going down a slope of wet grass, feet just went from me, grabbed a fence to break my fall, ended up in A&E four stitches in my finger.

What was worse, I emailed Muck Boots telling them what happened and they need to have a look at their soles of their boots, I never received an answer.

I've had muc boots for 10 year never a problem but mine are the green ones the camo ones are shit

How often do you wear them ? I had Muck Boots, £70, and the soles wore smooth and the toe split within three month ! I got an imitation pair from Aldi, £16, and they lasted a year. Wouldn't have Muck Boots for free, now.
