I have been toying with the idea to get a night vision rangefinder for a long time as it's quite difficult to range rabbits at night over long distances.

I have only come up with military spec ones that set you back £3,000.00......not within my budget!

Until now.

I have found one eventually and the manufacturer has told me that they only started making them NOV last year, so I ordered a few samples as a couple of friends are interested and may have them off me, they were posted to me yesterday, I will be taking some photo's and a video and put it on here for you all to see.

I must say I'm very impressed at the first look, it's much like a normal rangefinder but it's digital and can see perfectly at night. I tested it in my garden last night and it has it's own built in IR. I tested the rangefinder on a few buildings that i know the distance and it's dead accurate up to 400m. It also has optical mag of 6x i think and a digital zoom of 4x, I am going to further test it later and put a few pictures on here and a video.....if i can work out how to put a video on here.

The funny thing is, it doesn't have a name.....it's such a new product that nothing is written on it, i think i may have the first one in UK ?

I read that pitch black are coming out with one

No, i had a chat with the guy from pitch black at the show and he is just using a cross bow range finder attached to the already large brick that will sit on your rifle......I know this cos he gave to much info away!

He also stated he is having problems with ranging past 65 yards........funny that, the crossbow rangefinder has the same problem as it only has an affective range of 65 yards.
