wirral countryman 2,110
There is a very small target audience on here these days and most are not admirer's of the Plummer terrier, I breed at least 2 litters a year and never advertise on here as most are dreamers anyway that expect to get everything free, the sire of this bitch is a good earth dog so if its a worker some one wants then this is it, WM 1 Quote Link to post
Cargol 302
I'll tell you why, because the bitches breeding is unknown so no paperwork to go with the Pup. And I wouldn't personaly buy a terrier for digging out of a "farm bitch" Not knocking the pup at all. What I'm saying is it won't appeal to the Plummer faithfull and it won't appeal to digging lads either. Quote Link to post
bunnyboiler 1,053
The only reason I put the pup on here is to help someone out as when I was looking for my first plummer it was like looking for hens teeth and took me six months to find one this pup was pick of the litter for letting them use my dog for stud this pup was gifted to a so called friend who for what ever reason didn't want her in the end and if the right person came along the pup was free but I never stated that on here as its full of f****n idiots who want something for nothing I've been contacted through another site by a game keeper who will give this bitch the work she deserves and is not worried about paper work ATB Dean 4 Quote Link to post
Cargol 302
Nice to know she is going sonewhere she will see abit. Not enough Plummers given the chance of some proper work. ATB mate. Quote Link to post
wirral countryman 2,110
Cargo, Plummers don't get enough work but you are wrong about being papered up, I have never had a problem selling pups for good money as there is a difference between knowing whats in your line and being part of a pretend pedigree that produces unhealthy terriers, most known lines are still producing pups with health problems, my line is unique in its breeding and all blood percentages are known by me, DEAN's dog is of known breeding from 2 of the best earth dog Plummers that were around at the time and the term "farm bitch" never helped his post, I'm sure with a bit of work the bitches background could of been traced back to its known provenance, there are more people starting to work and breed these terriers without the interference of any official club as the manner in which they can be worked as an all rounder makes them different than patts, borders, etc, WM 2 Quote Link to post
