Air Tank Help

Alright gents, my air tank has stopped filling my rifle (air arms s410) I connect it to the cylinder and air is just rushing out and not going into the rifle. I'm not 100% if it's a bottle issue, hose issue or an issue with the rifle itself. Perhaps a seal gone or something..? What would be the best course of action? Replace the hose first? Or take the bottle to a diving shop and the rifle into the gunsmith straight away?

Before taking the bottle to the diving shop, or the gun to the gunsmith, I would check that the purge valve is full closed on the main bottle valve. Then I'd make up a frothy soap and water solution, using a small paintbrush check every area of the main valve through to the filler. If you can't find out where it's coming from, and consequently you are unable to rectify it, then take the gun/bottle to the appropriate shop.

Cheers lads. Wasn't that hard to find its coming straight out of the barrel. Taking it to the gun smiths today.

That's worked to an extent it's gone up to 100 bar but won't accept any more air.

Yeah mate I took the hose off the connection and turned it up, air still flying out.

yea but when connected to gun its having to compress the air and if theres not enough pressure in cylinder then it wont fill

You might think the tanks full with air still comeing out mate but it's the pressure it needs to force it into your gun mine was the same only filling to 100 so been and got tank filled up and it's filling my gun to the top
