Here's the real reason lol

Been in Pubs all over Scotland and every one has made me feel welcome , mind you a few people have said being scouse dosnt count as being English .

well have fun lol

Ive possibly been asked to leave more drinking establishments than most,i was an inglorious, nasty and belligerent drunk, the amount of times ive woke in a cell and copped a drunk and disorderly fine?.Me and a mush used to drive cars back from Glasgow for a car dealer, the cars were so cheap there,so was the booze and women. One time we had to wait 3 hours whilst the vendor fixed a clutch on a car,we spent that time watching what the jocks saw as footie in a local bar,we drank copious amounts of pissy Scottish beer, beat a jock at pool and ordered a pizza, then the jock returned with a couple of mates that were less than enamoured with our English accent,we left the pub eating our Pizza and left a couple of ugly tartan chewers chewing the carpet, happy days.Edited to say Mik,it was in Glasgow and not Dundee.

Just driving through Glasgow now

You've started a thread inferring you were put out a bar for being English but weren't told as much so just assumed that was the reason...right? Then came on here to mump about it.

With no proof this is just a bit of a dig at the pub in question and the Scots in general. English folks on the whole are made very welcome in Scotland but we don't tolerate ar$eholes. I'd suggest you get South of the border again pronto.

I personally have never had any agro at all in Scotland, Ireland or Wales.....everyone has been spot on.

I was visiting Belfast pretty regular back at the start of the peace process and still there was no nonsense, just cracked onto people normal and they treated me the same.

I will be honest and say I found it hard to believe you were put out "for being English"........I mean let's be honest, no matter where you come from in the UK you wouldnt stand for being put out of somewhere else in the UK simply because you were English, Scottish, Welsh or Irish.......I mean you just wouldn't have it would you !!

If that was genuinely the reason you'd start a f***ing riot surely ?

The normal reason groups get put out of boozers is because they are acting like ball bags !
