Decriminalising Drugs?

Legalising drugs helps the government tap into an unused resource,takes power and money away from criminal gangs, removes drug users from having to mix with criminal sources to purchase them etc etc. When the Heroin hit Sweden in the 70s and 80s they couldn't deal with it or the crimes it was causing,so they set up walk in Heroin centres where users could come and go as they needed and get free drugs,needles,advice etc, this tactic is still in use today and still serves the purpose it was set up for.Alcohol and Tobacco are probably the worlds biggest killing drugs but due to the amount of taxes Governments receive from sales they have not been banned and also America did try prohibition but it simply didn't work. People will still get drugs if they legalise them or not,only difference legalising them ,is that the Governments will get there cut of the profits instead of nothing, users will still get drugs no matter what the Law says.

I don't mind. I have many other ways of getting pleasure out of life. Sex being one of the main ways...making money is becoming a close 2nd.

Sex = feeling of euphoria caused by receptors in the brain reacting with chemicals.

Drugs = feeling of euphoria caused by receptors in the brain reacting with chemicals.

The combo can be quite nice as well......

Don't really have an answear to this but I live in a small town an all guarentee everyone under age of 35 that go out would turn down a line fact. Be hypocritical if I was to slag them of cause I've done it and do occasionally none of my friends that I've grew up with or have now who must do take drugs have been addicted to illegal drugs these legal ones f**k u up 4-5 of them at some point in last few years lost the way for a while on methadone when it first came out and was legal 1 s still chasing it and is a recluse he's 50 now another started on legal drugs same age as me 23 been in local mental clinic more than he's been out in last 3 years 8months last year out of twelve paranoid szofrenic mess has psychosis the full lot but can't keep him away when it was ECCys MDMA a had no one sell him and it worked till he turned he's computer on an next day or one after all this shit came through his door that know one knows full effects of long term (10-20years) I would touch the stuff better the devil you know but I do fully believe that legal drugs are worse than illegal aside herion crack crystal meth had no experience nor has any of my social circle

Watched this the other day. What a sad way to live your life if you can even class it as living. I like money as much as the next but couldn't make money and see I was killing someone like that.
