tomshep 41
I,ve just got new dog cabins to go in the runs they came from cab dog transit they cost a fair bit but they are bloody great and should last a life time. I bed them with straw and the dogs are warm and comfy and keep good condition through the winter Quote Link to post

hairyface 211
I don't think what you use is the important bit so much, whether its straw, shredded paper or blankets. but as long as its DRY, DRAUGHT FREE and WARM, it will take no harm as far as im concerned a WARM dog is a HAPPY dog, end off. and I don't give 2 fucks whether folk think im soft because I think that way., ive seen dogs shivering on damp sawdust or curled up tight on sparce straw. surprizing how many cockheads don't treat there dogs how they should 9 Quote Link to post
tomshep 41
Sorry flacko not that good on the computer to put up a photo. I found the company that made them at the cla game fair like I say they aren't cheep but when you look at how long they will last and the fact I use the dogs I keep in them to earn my livelihood it isn't that much money and its the least I can do for the dogs Quote Link to post

TOMO 26,237
Is it just the bulbs that are rubbish in the cheaper lamps or is it the full setup in general tomo? Not a 100% sure!!!couldn't make my mind up !!if the cheap unit was making the bulbs blow !!!or just or just the rubbish bulbs,,,,but when they did blow!!I had a problem with unscrewing what was left of the bulb out off the light itself,,, So in the end just piad a bit more,,,in fact I've still got the same bulb in now over a year... Skycat,,the brick building there in,,,has no outdoor run,,unless you leave the door open ,,and access to an enclosed back garden,,,so when the door shut at night,,there's no probs.. Lat year I got one of those huge thik walled cardboard boxes with a lid on then cut a hole in it for the dog to get in and put it on that raised bed,,, Then I hole in the lid for the lamp,,,cushions inside the box,,topped with a duvet,,,proper little den,,,,but it's no good if your dog is a chewer 2 Quote Link to post
