mjr88 50
Hi all I have owned my HW100s for about 18 months and it was purchased brand new. Although I have not had any issues with the rifle, I have noticed that after doing the initial zero check before starting to shoot, the accuracy always seems to be slightly off from the last time the rifle was used. Usually the zero has moved about a 1/4'' to 1/2'' to the left or right. Once I have adjusted the scope again for the current shooting session, the zero seems to stay spot on.I only use the rifle for the occasional spot of bunny bashing and fun plinking, and given that this rifle is my first ever pcp any advice will be greatly appreciated. Could the change of zero be caused when the rifles bottle is refilled with air, or is it all to do with the outside temperature,All advice welcome,Marc Edited October 27, 2014 by mjr88 Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
First i would blame the wind. Unless you zero indoors. Second, is it a decent scope and mounts ?? Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
Barrel might need cleaning, some need cleaning after only 200 pellets give it ago Quote Link to post
treecreeper 1,136
Could be both things already mentioned, but check the mounts are tight on the rail. Quote Link to post
Rez 4,961
Could it be the shooter? No offence but we aren't machines. An awkward spike in the reg? Does it happen at the same point in terms of shot count. Quote Link to post
