Irish Lurcher 1,013
My bitch got a bang of a car some weeks ago, we lost her for two hours, thought she was dead in some field, found her hunting in a field two miles away. I can only guess at how you are feeling at this time. Life has a funny ways of kicking us in the balls when we least expect it, lets hope you can look to the future and keep meg close to your heart. holy grail 0
dont be ashamed to shed tears mate. something like that is always very hard to come to terms with. after reading your post i went outside to my new 1 yr old deerhound and gave him a big cuddle. i once had a pet roo. had him for 4 months until a steer stood on his leg/snapped it and we had to put him to sleep. he died in my arms. i was shattered for weeks and i still think about the little guy now and then. my thoughts are with you felltool. shell 42
So sorry to hear about Meg. Don't blame yourself, it wasn't your fault. Having lost a 9 and a half month old lurcher pup in an accident on the moor last year I know what you're going through. Time does heal, things do get easier, but you'll never forget her. Remember the good times you shared. She was a beautiful pup. Happy hunting in the sky Meg. Sleep tight. Shell xxx Quote Link to post
